We sat in traffic on the way back from the medical center. One cool thing, the Extreme Home Makeover edition bus was sitting in traffic with us.
Dad wanted to go home (Montana) so we quickly packed up the car and headed for Montana. The people at the Comfort Suites, in Oakbrook Terrace, IL, were so fantastic to us. One of the nicest ladies I have met is Geri at the front desk. With all the stuff with dealing with dad, when I went to tell them that we would be leaving early, I burst into tears. She came out and hugged me and gave me some words of comfort. Later, while we were packing, she called me to the front desk and made me a necklace that has a "faith" charm to help get me through this difficult time.
