She is walking and hopefully the meds will help. We will have to watch to make sure she takes it easy on stairs and jumping up on furniture. Poor girl.

July 7: oh what a night
Sophie started her panting and shaking and not being able to walk about 8:15 pm. She was getting worse so took her into the emergency vet. 400 bucks later, she is hopped up on pain meds and they think from the X-rays she has a bad back and arthritis in her left side. Finally left the clinic about 11:30.
She is walking and hopefully the meds will help. We will have to watch to make sure she takes it easy on stairs and jumping up on furniture. Poor girl.
