August 31: time out

Trying to order our Hobonichi journals for next year the first day they are available is hard work.  

August 30: pretty lights in a row

Put up my new Halloween lights.  ❤️ them. 

August 29: dragonfly in the sky

When I got to work this morning, had a guest waiting for me.  It stayed there about an hour. 

August 28: so close

Getting so close to being done with the office.  

August 27: rain and hail go away

Got caught in the storm.  Leftover hail

August 26: getting closer

Desk clear.  Finally. 

August 25: quick work

We sampled it all except the drinks and ramen you cook.  Seaweed yuck.  Everything else was good and I loved the bear cookies.  

August 24: kick it

Got my new shoes.  It's been way too long since I got new tennis shoes. Going in style.  

August 23: paco taco

Only thing better is getting them fresh from Crystal Pistol.  Throw back to my childhood.  Everyone should have a paco at least once in their life.  

August 22: ink pad storage

Finally done and fits perfectly in the spot. One more step closer to being done. 

August 21: shelf one

Daniel cleaned off the bottom shelf in our bedroom.  There were magazines from 2007 down there. 

Now to get the next two done.  

August 20: go around

So much road construction around our house.

Do I splurge and get a new cover for my 2017 journal or stick with the plain pink one I have?  Oh the choices.

Almost done with my ink pad holder.  Lots of work but will be awesome to have a custom made piece for my shelf. 

August 15: cutters cramps

My hands are cramping from cutting up these shelves out of foam core boards.  Hours and hours of measuring and cutting.  Two days down and hopefully tomorrow I'll be done. Looking pretty good.  

August 14: Bearly legal

The Bears are taking over Costco.   

August 13: groovy

Someone really likes Frank Zappa.  I thought the back was just dirty until I really looked at it. 

August 12: day off

Got my hair chopped off and got a massage.  Good day. 

August 11: getting inky with it

Fountain pen and ink drawer all organized.  

August 10: happy birthday to me

Went to dinner at Mexican Village then coffee and cupcakes from GiGis while watching Big Brother and the Olymics. 

August 9: do it for our country,the red, white

And the blue.  Olympics time again.  Another evening watching amazing athletes battle for the gold. 

August 8: hair today gone tomorrow

My hair is too late long and annoying.  I tried a haircut method I saw on YouTube where you put your hair in a pony tail on top of your head and cut.  Turned out pretty good.  Should have went shorter.  

But cute layers.  

August 7: are we there yet?

This is taking forever but I'm slowly making progress.  But going through every item is a lot of work.  Another cart to help sort it all out.
