25/365 Beautiful End to a Long Week

Daniel and I ended our day with take out from Olive Garden and a nice glass of Italian red. Ahh...it's the weekend!!!

This is the first step of the new quilt along I am doing with Rae Bon quilting store.

Daniel picked out our new bedding, a nice color comp of blacks, grays, and whites. The lighter grays and white take on purple hue on the room so I think it looks great with our purple walls.

I made a loaf of French bread tonight to go with our turkey dinner. Yum-o!

Rafferty climbed up the frozen snow bank and sat on top of the snowy table surveilling his kingdom. I thought he might think of jumping the fence, but I think with the four foot drop on the other side he wasn't too interested.

Daniel and I spent the afternoon at Barnes and Noble. It was a good day for magazines!

12/365 Snow covered alley

This is the alley after a few days of warm (30 degree) weather.  I can't believe how much snow has melted already.  I will post a few more pictures as the Spring comes, as it becomes a flooded mess in March - April when all the snow melts.  YUCK!

10/365 I don't think we are in Fargo

I took this picture on the way home from work today.  I used Instagram on my iPod touch to put the little effect on the picture.  love it.  It looks like some barren wasteland.  Plus you can't tell, but the sun was shining like crazy and the sky was a beautiful blue.

8/365 Finally!!

You may recall last year, during my Project 365, I tried to shame myself by taking a picture of my unruly makeup case.  Hoping it would encourage me to clean it out.  Sadly, it didn't work. 

But no fear, a friend is going to start getting into makeup and out to try new things.  Whoopie, a great excuse to clean out my case.  I got rid of so much, I am so excited.  I have a big gallon baggie filled to the top with my donations for her.  If she doesn't like it, she can pass it on!  Win win for all!

7/365 New Addictions

We have a new addiction in our house, it is called Doctor Who.  We just finished the season on DVD, now we have to wait until April for new episodes.

5/365 Sickly

I have been sick all week, not sure what is wrong.  But I have been laying down a lot, taking several meds and rubbing vicks or blue stuff on my neck and shoulders.  FUN FUN!!

4/365 J'adore Paris

Well, I think I would if I ever visited.  Someday!  This is a picture of Carson and I from one of his games on my iPod.  It is a cute little girl that you can make say and do little things in front of the Eiffel Tower.  One of them is take a picture and then she hold a picture you had her take.

3/365 Snowy Sky

We did have some blue sunny skies this past week.  A sign of things to come in the future...if you look beyond the snow. This is the view standing beside the garage looking up.  The snow has formed a ledge over the side of the roof.

1/365 The Beginning...again

It is day one of my Project 365.  I am doing pictures only with my iPod touch this year.  Here are my containers I bought to hold my bread I am making from Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day.  Can't wait to try it out in two days.   I am going to mix up the dough tomorrow and let it sit for a day before baking. I think they will work great and so cheap at the restaurant supply store.
