299/365 Happy Halloween

We had our annual Papa Murphy's Jack O Lantern Pizza.  Yummy!

 

The boys came over to show us their costumes.  Camden  was Darth Vader and Carson was a teddy bear.  Too cute.

 Then I gave the boys each a pair of pajamas.  Camden got Mario pants and Carson got Thomas jammies.

Camden and Carson were over tonight, Camden took Carson for a little ride on his back.

One of the departments at my job made a cute little tropical paradise.  It looked pretty cute.

Rafferty and Sophie were curled up sleeping at the end of the bed tonight. So cute.

Sophie was freezing today and when the boys came for a visit, Carson decided that Sophie needed a blanket!

I stayed home from work today and slept all day and then watched Chuck and Castle, and now am going back to bed.

293/365 My Spot

I haven't moved much from the bed this weekend.  Tonight, I am downloading my podcasts and updating my blog from my spot on the bed - my lapdesk with my laptop charging my nook and mp3 player.  The heating pad on high and my bean bag warming my toes.  Regular Vicks scenting the air, how can life get better...oh yeah, I could get feeling better!!!!

 

292/365 Cinderella

Being sick today, I didn't do much.  I did take a shower and get dressed.  I put on my favorite pink sweats and my slippers to make me feel cozy.  Now if I could just loose the barking cough, life would be good.

291/365 New Printer

We got a new printer.  So far it is much better than the last one.  And we got a great deal to boot!

I started work on Dustin's blanket tonight.  So far so good.

We had the fireplace going tonight.  I am not ready for winter!  BOO HISS

 The boys were also over tonight and sat at the table and colored Thomas the Tank Engine pictures.  How cute are they?

I finally dragged my butt to the doctor tonight.  They kindly gave me the lovely face mask to wear while I waited.  OH JOY!  Good news, it is just a virus.  Bad news, it is just a virus, so nothing else I can do except what I have been doing.  UGH!  I will be so glad when I am done coughing!

While it isn't perfect, it was a great learning experience for me!  I made my first quilted table runner!  woo hoo.  I finished my class tonight.

Mom was on the exercise bike and did not appreciate having her picture taken!  LOL

285/365 Teddy Bear Elvis

It is that time of year.  I pulled out what I call my teddy bear Elvis pj's and put them on today.  I have been battling an illness, and my bones are cold and achy.  Wearing my one piece pj's make me feel all warm and cozy.

284/365 Buyer Beware

I have been battling a cold for the last week.  I went a few days ago and bought some Vicks. When I got home and opened it, the top was yellow.  When I looked at the package, on the very bottom, it says lemon scent!!!!  When did Vick's start coming lemon scented?  Sigh...just not right, now I smell like clean products while I sleep.

Next time I will be more careful when buying my products!  Lesson learned.

I made this giant spider out of a milk jug.  It needs some work, but it is turning out pretty cute.

When we were heading to Waggy Tails bakery to buy puppy treats, there was a beautiful butterfly in the flowers out front.  I can't believe it is October in North Dakota! 

278/365 Another Saturday

The family came from Montana. The brought their new little puppy JJ.  He is a six week old dauschund.  He is even smaller than Sophie right now.

 

 They also lit the fire in the backyard and roasted the giant marshmellows.  Chloe and Camden had some sticky hands.

Someday I will make it to Paris.  But until then, I have my mini Paris in my room.

When we came home from work, Sophie had made herself a little bed, she pulled a blanket and my shoes/slippers out of the closet and made herself at home.  She sure can be naughty!

The boys were over tonight and Camden and I had fun with the camera.  Love the smile!

We watched Carson tonight while Lonni went to Camden's football game.  He loves playing with the basket.

273/365 I'm a quilter!

I took my first quilting class tonight.  LOVE IT!  I made the first part of the quilt, four strips of three pieces of fabric.  I can't wait to see what it looks like when completed.

272/365 The Clean Garage

Ta da....introducing the clean garage!  Clean enough that as soon as Lonni takes the drums and Dustin and Sarita take their little load, we can get two cars in there!  YEAH!
