148/365 - Camden's Painting

Here are the wooden signs that Camden has started painting. On the back of the Tiki face (the blue one) he drew pictures of all his friends.  I like that they all seem to be smiling, that is a good sign!

147/365 Busy Day

We mowed the back yard this morning, shesh, did I get a red face.

Camden and I painted signs, here is mine, I will post Camden's tomorrow, his are still wet.

Finally, our baby birds hatched.  I noticed them when I went to hang my sign in the garden.  Too cute, there are two of them.

146/365 - It's Time

We broke down and put the air conditioner on tonight after work.  Sigh, not sure I am ready for the hot summer.  I wish the house had better windows, so we could get a good cross breeze through the house.

145/365 Grandpa Larry

Carson wasn't afraid of Grandpa Larry at all!  Carson walked right up to him and played ball.    Pretty funny, of all the kids, Carson likes both my dad and Daniel.  It can happen!

144/365 - Me Toe follow up

My toe is looking better.  I believe the nail is finally growing back.  woo hoo!  If you want to see it previously, you can look here.  The picture, back in March, was before the nail fell off, but had been bruised and broken since end of January.  Sigh...it takes a long time for a toe to heal!

143/365 - Thanks Kasey!

You can never have too many lip balms.  Kasey bought one she didn't want and passed it my way!  It is so cute.  Looks like a little candle!

142/365 Mom's Choice

Mom picked out her fabric for her bag.  Hopefully, I am feeling well enough to do both Mom's and Camden's bags this weekend.

141/365 - Lost

Even though I didn't watch a lot of Lost in the past six years, I spent the night watching the series finale with Daniel and Mom.  A relaxing evening.

My review:  It seemed to be a good show, even though I still hate Ben.

140/365 - Burst of Energy

I had a burst of energy today, ran a marathon, cleaned the whole house, mowed the yard, and did all the laundry.

Well, not true, but I did muster up the energy to get out of the house for about an hour.  Have I mentioned how much I hate being sick and feeling so weak?????

I did attempt to unmount a couple of my wooden stamps tonight.  It seems to work really well.  I may have to do all of them, since I like the clear stamps much better plus it saves space!

139/365 Double Trouble

We sat outside on the steps for a little bit tonight, I am sick of sitting in the house and needed a little fresh air.  Rafferty and Sophie sat with me (well I was trying to pet Rafferty and Sophie was having none of that)!

138/365 Remembering Bella

I stayed home from work again today, but maybe it was for the best, the vet called today and Bella's ashes were ready to be picked up.  Just when I think I have cried my last tear about Bella, more tears come.  I started crying on the phone with the vet.

After going to the doctor (have a sinus infection, which is why I keep going between running a fever and having a low temperature) we picked up Bella's ashes. Right now she is sitting on our TV stand, I put her collar and tags on the tin they put her ashes in.

137/365 - Sugar and Spice

Nothing much happened today, laid on the couch again for most of it, I really hate feeling sick.  On a good note, my mom went with my sister to Minneapolis to see Conan and brought back some Penzey's Spices.  YEAH!

136/365 - still sick

133/365 Chloe's Bag

132/365 - Mama's Got a Brand New Bag

It isn't perfect, and I can't sew straight to save my life, but for my second sewing project and my impatience, I am happy with my new little bag.

131/365 The Fabric

I am going to try and make myself a handbag, well, tote bag really, but I am going to use it as a handbag, if I can get it to turn out correctly.  This will be my second sewing project.  I will post a picture of the finished product, hopefully, tomorrow or Saturday, depending on how successful I am.

130/365 The Nest

A bird built a nest in our window next to the air conditioner by my garden.  Hopefully she will be kept warm and dry in the little nest.

128/365 - Never Not Funny

I am not feeling well tonight, so I thought about not posting a picture.  But, I didn't want to slack off too much.  Here is a picture of my MP3 player, playing the final episode of Never Not Funny with Jimmy Pardo.  If you haven't heard of him, you are missing out!  Can't wait for season 7!

127/365 Remembering Bella

It is hard to believe it has almost been a week since we put Bella to sleep.  We received a card in the mail from the vet, which brought tears to our eyes.  Unless you have had a pet, I don't know if you can understand the loss and sadness you can feel.

This inside of the card:

One of my favorite pictures of little Bella, so dejected, she was a good sport.

126/365 - down on the farm

It wasn't until I moved to Fargo, that I even heard of this frat house -

After driving by the house tonight, I decided to look them up, shockingly, they have been around 105 years.  Who knew!

125/365 Happy Birthday Daniel

Today is Daniel's birthday.  They made him a card and brought in a cake for him at work.  While it was very thoughtful, he doesn't like any production made of his birthday.  Wait till next year, maybe I will send a singing telegram to him at work.  LOL

Here is the cute card they made for him.

124/365 - Coasting

I made a set of four coasters and a trivet a couple years ago. They are made with unfinished tiles and a couple Stampin' Up stamps.  I still love how they look.

123/365 Knock on Wood, baby

Okay, so I am totally addicted to this website called Knock off Wood.  There are plans for furniture you can make.  I *so* think I can make something.  I just need to get over my fear of saws.

I want this island.
These are my little babies curled up with me while I surf the net on the couch.

Sophie

Then Rafferty and Sophie.

Hugs for Miss B.  We miss you girl.

120/365 - The Vet

Spent the day at the Animal Hospital with Bella.  Not sure what is up, but she isn't doing well...I hate waiting, and not knowing.

119/365 Calendar of Pride

I wasn't feeling well last night and went to lay down, I don't know if it is good or bad, but I fell asleep and didn't get my picture posted.  So here is the one for yesterday.  Don't think too poorly of me.

For the month of April, I have been going to the gym at work and walking on breaks.  I made my goal of three times a week every week.  For May, I am moving it up to four days a week.
