59/365 - The Look of Daniel

Daniel doesn't care about his hair.  The only time it starts to bother him is when:
1.  It is too hot out and it gets too long, he gets too hot, then he gets it cut.
2.  It is too cold and it gets too long, he can't keep his hat on his head, so then he gets it cut.

Here is the process that happened today (the first picture wasn't taken today, but for reference, although, you can't really see how long his hair really was).

58/365 - Lions, Tigers, and Bears, Oh My!

I went to a Stampin Up party today (thanks Jill) and made a couple of cards.  I was really happy with how cute the Lion card was.  I will have to try making more like that, pretty cute.

56/365 - The Spice of Life

I love Penzey's spices.  If you have never had the change to try them out, run don't walk to their website or to a store near you.  They are fantastic and make all the difference in your cooking.  I never knew how much a spice could affect the outcome of dinner until I cooked with their spices.  Hey, even Alton Brown uses their spices.

55/365 - Scrapbook Room

Here are some shots of my scrapbook room.  It isn't perfect, and as you can see my desk is a MESS, but it is all mine (well, and half Daniels, but I didn't take pictures of his half).

This pegboard is where I hang some of my small stamps, scissors, hammer, ribbon, etc.  The little plastic cups at the top hold flowers and chipboard pieces.  The drawers on the side hold lose items, cleaners, powders, glitter, etc.
This is my messy desk. It needs a good cleaning.

This is my main paper storage area.  I have other stacks of paper, but it isn't organized.

This is where I store my ribbon, eyelets, brads, etc.  The eyelets and brads and other small embellishments are stored in an old spice rack by color. Ribbon is also stored by color.

This is where I store all my stamps and ink pads.  They are grouped by either Stampin Up, Close to My Heart, and Other loose stamps.

That is my little creative nook in the basement.

54/365 - Can You Hear Me Now?

Mike at work was walking around with the handset and splitter to listen to phone calls, holding it up looking for a signal.

I also have to add these cutie pictures, Daniel was laying on the bed talking to me and Bella decided to jump and get in on some petting.  She cracks me up!

52/365 - Still Sore...

I am still feeling horrid today.  I hope my pinched nerve in my neck is better tomorrow, sitting in front of a computer all day won't be fun.

Here is a lovely picture of me with the heating pad around my neck.  I am not sleeping but the flash was bugging my eyes so I closed them for the picture.

51/365 - Pain Pain Go Away...

47/365 - la Tour Eiffel

My niece Chloe sent me a wonderful Valentine's Day card.  It has the Eiffel tower on the front and when you push the button, fireworks go off and light up the card and a little song plays.

Here is the front of the card:

Here is the fireworks:

And here is her sweet little signature "Chole"!  LOL You are too cute Chloe!

45/365 - Happy Valentine's Day

Since we didn't put a Christmas Tree up this year, my mom put up a Valentine's Day Tree.  It has heart ribbon and little balloon heart decorations.

44/365 - Bento!

One of my favorite things are Bentos.  I fell in love with the little Japanese lunch boxes a couple years ago.  They are so cute to take your lunch to work.  While I am not as creative as some people are (just google Bento lunches and see all the amazing artwork people put into their lunches), it does make packing a lunch to work much nicer than a brown bag.

This is my favorite Bento, I paid way too much for it, plus shipping from Japan, but it is just so cute!
This is what it looks like open!

42/365 - Ding Ding Ding...Dinners On

Tonight I made Chicken and Couscous, it should have been orzo, but we were out of orzo, so couscous had to do.  Turned out pretty good.

40/365 - The Sky is Falling

There is a lot of speculation about a crack that is visible in the ceiling at work.  Everyone has their own theory about how the ceiling will fall and who should get the heck out of the way when it happens.

Good thing Chicken Little isn't around!

39/365 - Mother Nature is Snowing on My Parade

Mother Nature and I need to have a little chat about all the snow she is dumping on us.  I AM SICK OF SNOW.  Have I mentioned that yet?  I don't know how much more I can take.   Since all we see is SNOW and more SNOW, here are the pictures from tonight!

Bella (with Sophie in the back) in the snow.

Rafferty in the snow.

The picnic table and chairs are out there buried in the snow.

38-365 - Light at the End of the Tunnel

It has been snowing since Friday, when you look outside, you see nothing but white.  UGH, I am SO over winter.  The only thing that keeps me going are the garden magazines and seed catalogs that are arriving daily to get me thinking about a garden I currently can't see.  Spring cannot come soon enough this year!

37/365 - Cuddle Up!

Sophie had me up really early this morning, since I woke up with a cold, I put my robe on and we cuddled in the chair for about an hour.  She is such a cuddle bug!

We babysat Carson tonight while Camden took his parents to the Monster Truck show.  He enjoyed a little fruit smoothie I made for him!

35/365 - Shame Myself into Action

I am hoping that by posting a picture of my makeup case, I will be shamed into cleaning it out.  I can't even find things I know I own in there!  Once I clean it, I will post the after pictures!  :-)

34/365 - It's a Jungle Out There!

This is my little baby Delilah was given to me when I started my new job about three years ago.  She started out as three leaves in a dixie cup (the leaves were taken by Sue from Robert Plant who lives on the file cabinet in our department at work).

I have increased her pot size several time, but she keeps growing.  I am not sure what I am going to do with her when she gets too big for my shelf.

33/365 - Crazy Cathy

Okay, I took my camera out at work to see if I could find something grand to take a picture of.  Cathy sits across from me and has an issue with photos, for some reason, she can't keep her tongue in her mouth and I have snapped a couple great pictures of her sticking out her tongue.  The only editing I did to this picture was cropping it and also putting the black border around it, I swear her tongue is not attached to the bottom of her face!!

Maybe next time Cathy you will smile nicely!  LOL

32/365 - Camden's Candle

Right before Christmas, I was showing my sister one of Carson's presents.  Camden wanted to see one of his presents, so as a joke, I took down a candle I had up in my closet and told him it was his present, thinking he would laugh and want to see the real present.  Well, that kid always surprises me, and he loved it. He was so excited and as he told his mom, he never had a candle before.  So now, when he comes over, one of his favorite things to do is light his candle.  Silly kid!
